Troy Lyons leads IIHR Engineering Services and serves as a bridge between clients, engineers, researchers, and shop staff. His extensive experience spans all levels of research activities, from model construction and design, to project management and communication. He holds BS and MS degrees in engineering from the University of Iowa.
IIHR is a world-renowned hydraulics laboratory with nearly a century of experience and global leadership. Our depth of knowledge spans the full range of fluids-related structures, both natural and built.
We are the experts in hydraulic modeling. IIHR’s unique approach combines physical modeling, computational modeling, and field studies to provide clients with a comprehensive solution to meet their needs.
